Northwest Technical School is dedicated in providing a Child Care program for those who are truly interested in spending their career working with children. This program prepares individuals to become either Child Development Associates and/or have a background that will help them to further their education in the early childhood education field, whether they choose elementary school or preschool/day care. This course provides both classroom and hands-on work with infants, toddlers, preschoolers, and school-age children. NTS Child Care is devoted to prepping their students towards the skills and knowledge to work with infants and children.
Education for Success
The Child Care Program prepares individuals to receive their Child Development Associate Credential (CDA). You will also have the opportunity to get CPR and First Aid certified.
Upon successful completion of two years of Child Care while in high school, you may be eligible for free college credit at North Central Missouri College in Trenton, MO. The school hours that are available are three hour block programs that are offered in either the morning, afternoon or evenings.
